I BELIEVE I HAD LOST MY WAY AND NEEDED TO FIND IT. I WAS WANDERING AND NEEDED DIRECTION. I BELIEVE THE WAY FOUND ME AND INVITED ME TO WALK THE ROAD OF LIFE WITH HIM. I BELIEVE I AM NOT ALONE. I BELIEVE IN SECRETS. I DON'T DO THINGS JUST TO BE SEEN BY OTHERS. I BELIEVE IN MYSTERY. GOD IS BIGGER AND DEEPER THAN I HAVE PAT ANSWERS FOR. I BELIEVE IN BEING REAL. IN CHRIST THERE IS NO NEED TO PRETEND. I BELIEVE MY LIFE HAS A PURPOSE. I BELIEVE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. I BELIEVE HIS KINGDOM IS NEAR US IF WE WOULD JUST OPEN OUR EYES ENOUGH TO SEE IT. I BELIEVE IN FORGIVENESS BECAUSE I TRUST A PERFECT JUDGE. I BELIEVE IN LOVING ENEMIES AND PRAYING FOR ADVERSARIES. I BELIEVE I DO NOT POSSESS THE RIGHT TO JUDGE, BUT I DO POSSESS THE RIGHT TO DISCERN. I BELIEVE IN FAIRNESS AND EQUALITY, IN JUSTICE AND PEACE, IN RIGHT AND WRONG. I BELIEVE IN THE NARROW ROAD AND THE SMALL GATE. I BELIEVE IN THE IMPOSSIBLE AND TRUST THE INVISIBLE. I BELIEVE IN BEAUTY FROM ASHES, JOY FROM MOURNING, AND NEW FROM DEATH. I BELIEVE IN SEEKING TRUTH. I BELIEVE I AM LOVED AND FULLY ACCEPTED AS A CITIZEN FROM HEAVEN. I BELIEVE GOD IS BUSY MAKING ALL THINGS NEW. I BELIEVE IN CHURCH. I BELIEVE IN FAITH. I BELIEVE IN HOPE. I BELIEVE IN LOVE. I BELIEVE IN CHRIST.

I really like this post Kelly. It's pretty close to answering the question I posed on my blog today. I may just have to snatch this and use it somewhere, somehow. Your writing has just really been the right edge lately. - debby

I am on a journey, searching for God and what that means in my daily life. It's not about constraints, it's not about limitations, but freedom. I know something exists beyond the visible. I live thinking about possibilities and what could be and the necessary steps to make things happen. I like long talks with a good friend, drinking tea, eating breakfast with my husband, going to a bookstore (they are the new libraries), cool mornings, windy days in the fall, learning about love and life from those who seem to have found their way, teenagers, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, long baths, and connecting with another heart. I am learning how to love, how to live, when to speak and when not to, when it's time to gather the stones, when it's time to let go, surrender, forgiveness, and discipline.
