what is beyond faith in a Savior? you can live your life in two ways...

1. you do not adhere to any sort of belief system. maybe you believe God exists and maybe you don't. you are a morally good person, why change? you try not to break any of the "top ten" who's going to get hurt?

2. you have faith in Jesus Christ. he has healed you, brought you back to wholeness, and you spend your days learning how to serve him and love him and others.

but there's so much more i want to know. i want to know what life is like after accepting Christ. I want to know how he comes alive in you and how he comes alive in me. I want to see the world through the light that he brings, and only through that filter.

i don't really believe that there are only two ways of living life. i think that under that number two, there is an alphabet full of subcategories of revelations. the problem is, i tend to only see three or four.. and i want more diversity.

I am on a journey, searching for God and what that means in my daily life. It's not about constraints, it's not about limitations, but freedom. I know something exists beyond the visible. I live thinking about possibilities and what could be and the necessary steps to make things happen. I like long talks with a good friend, drinking tea, eating breakfast with my husband, going to a bookstore (they are the new libraries), cool mornings, windy days in the fall, learning about love and life from those who seem to have found their way, teenagers, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, long baths, and connecting with another heart. I am learning how to love, how to live, when to speak and when not to, when it's time to gather the stones, when it's time to let go, surrender, forgiveness, and discipline.
