A little over a week ago, I was tagged by another blog.
The explosion of the blog world in the last year has led to countless quality blogs being started, but sometimes it is hard to find them amongst all the other blog muck. Because there are so many quality blogs out there, I though I would try to start a meme to send some eyeballs toward those unknown bloggers. So, share a blog you think more people should read, and then tag 5 others (who hopefully read your blog!) to do the same.
Okay, so I am going to list a few blogs that I think are well worth the read:
First, as many of you who know me know, I am a fan of So I Go. So I Go is written by my friend Jeff, who ironically enough tagged me. It is a perpetual novel about the "Jesus of My Day." I cannot say enough about Jeff's writing and the places it takes you, and the ways it challenges you. Be sure to stop by and visit, you will get a lot out of it. My favorite chapter is Well Drink Specials..
Next, I have to recommend Sarah Jewett of broken and molded. Sarah has insight and perspective that remains fresh and intuitive in this collective journey.
Thirdly, I always find interesting stuff on Waving and Drowning, written by Mike Todd. Not the Mike Todd from Toccoa, but yet another. He highlights much of the news that matters to Christians living in this age seeking out justice. Last week someone claimed to have accepted Christ due in part to Mike's daily musings.
Last, but not least, is this guy who works in a homeless shelter. His blog, titled Today at the Mission has heartfelt stories about the men and women he comes into contact with on a daily basis. I am always blessed by his writing, even though the first few days I was reading, he was completely annoyed by those who crossed his path. I found the frustration endearing and have been reading ever since.
As I was composing this list, I thought about Casey and her recent obsession with the blog world. Casey--I hope you'll enjoy the ones I've posted above, it was good seeing you this week.
